We know what we’re taking on is big.
Building The Contra costa Family Nest isn’t just about four walls—it’s about shifting what’s possible for families in our community. It’s about creating a third option, a space where birth, postpartum, and family life are supported with evidence-based care and wholehearted compassion.

And big visions require resources.

The Nest is being built because the evidence is clear: when parents have more options and more support, outcomes improve- for families, for children, and for entire communities.

Your support turns this vision into something tangible.
What you're supporting right now:
At this stage, The Nest is an emerging project — laying the foundation for a future physical center and community hub in Contra Costa County, Walnut Creek and Lamorinda.
Early support allows us to:
-
Build community partnerships and provider networks
-
Develop trauma-informed programming and care models
-
Lay legal, operational, and administrative groundwork
-
Begin training and organizing doulas and support professionals
-
Create access pathways for families most impacted by gaps in care
This is the quiet, behind-the-scenes work that makes sustainable care possible.
